Job Description
  • Location: Warrendale, PA
  • Design cutting-edge electronic sensors and control hardware for underground mining environments
  • Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to develop innovative products
  • Take technical ownership of hardware design projects
  • Lead architecture and design reviews with internal teams and suppliers
  • Ensure electronic product readiness for manufacturing
  • Conduct testing and validation of hardware
  • Up to 10% travel may be required
Requirements
  • BS or MS in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer engineering
  • 15 years' experience in electronics hardware design including:
    • Intrinsic Safety IEC electronic hardware
    • FPGA design
    • Low power microprocessor-based controllers
    • High speed communication systems
    • Digital circuit design
    • Low power analog circuit design
    • RF components and systems
  • Experience leading complex CPU, FPGA, and ASIC based designs
  • Proficiency in electronic design tools like Altium
  • Strong knowledge of electronic test equipment
  • Experience with autonomous sensors is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and deadline-focused
