Job Title: Campus Chief, Riddle Hospital - Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our esteemed institution as the Campus Chief for Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at Riddle Hospital. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience, preferably including a leadership role and will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the OB/GYN department at our campus, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and promoting a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Administration:
  2. Provide strategic leadership for the OB/GYN department, overseeing day-to-day operations and administrative functions.
  3. Collaborate with departmental heads and hospital administration to align department goals with the overall mission of the institution.
  4. Advising the Department Chairman, Campus Medical Staff President and Campus VPMA on matters related to patient care, physicians' performance.
  5. Assessing and resolving, or facilitating resolution of, problems which may arise in his/her Campus Department.
  6. Acting on behalf of the Department Chairman in his/her absence.
  7. Informing the Campus VPMA and Department Chairman of all significant issues/events arising within the Campus Department.
  8. Assisting the Department Chairman in developing, implementing, and maintaining system-wide policies pertaining to the Department and its subspecialties.
  9. Devotes 16 (sixteen) hours per month for leadership and administration responsibilities.
  10. Clinical Responsibilities
  11. Provide care for obstetrics and gynecological patients including prenatal care, labor and delivery, post-partum and general gynecological care.
  12. Collaboration and Communication:
  13. Establish effective communication channels with interdisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
  14. Act as a liaison between the OB/GYN department and other healthcare stakeholders, fostering positive relationships.
  15. Quality Improvement:
  16. Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives within the department to ensure the highest standards of care.
  17. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, working towards continuous improvement and patient satisfaction.Qualifications:
  18. Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  19. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  20. Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  21. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  22. Demonstrated commitment to patient care, and continuous improvement.Benefits:
