Assistant Manager

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, staff management, bookkeeping, and merchandising. Upholding high standards and delivering prompt, friendly customer service. Ensuring consistent on-site presence.

Take part in executing our top-tier food program. Demonstrate care for customers and serve as a role model for the team, exhibiting urgency, patience, and leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail
  • Supervisory or managerial background
  • Skills in recruiting, hiring, and interviewing
  • Experience in food handling
  • High School/College Degree(s)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift
  • Occasional lifting and/or carrying of up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Pushing/pulling with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Bending at the waist, with occasional twisting, for up to one hour per shift
  • Grasping, reaching, and manipulating objects with hands, including climbing ladders if needed
