What You Will Do

As a Payroll Specialist at Trimble, you'll analyze, audit, and process payroll and adjustments, interpreting operating practices daily. Beyond payroll processing, you'll serve as a crucial liaison between HR, Benefits, Stock, and Employees, ensuring seamless communication and support. You'll also manage our Payroll helpdesk, resolving issues with precision, and support time capture system users and third-party service bureaus. If you have a minimum of three years of progressive payroll processing experience in US payroll operations, we want you on our team

  • Perform daily payroll department operations.
  • Payroll Helpdesk support - research and resolve employee and 3rd party queries received.
  • Process bi-weekly payrolls for one- two company codes/legal entities.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll data transactions are processed accurately and timely thru other third party data exchange.
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed report totals
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations and internal policies in support of SOX compliance.
  • Collaborate with Human Resource and accounting teams.
  • Process accurate year-end reporting and address corrections when necessary.
  • Prepare reports for management, finance department and other payroll customers.
  • Intercompany Reconciliations
  • WFN problem solving and importing data.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent : Equivalent - 3-5 years Payroll operational experience in a Shared Service environment - specifically, prior experience in ERP applications supporting HR, Time
  • Capture, Benefits and Payroll operations in a multi-state environment supporting multiple legal entities.
  • Solid knowledge of legislation and regulations for multi-state taxation and multi-legal entity payroll operations.
  • WFN and importing data experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with payroll/HRIS software (ADP, Kronos, Workday).
  • Must have current working knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Canadian payroll experience is a definite plus
