We are looking for an Associate Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in collaborating closely with sales teams to understand client needs and craft customized solutions within our Medical Device and Life Science vertical. Using deep technical expertise, this position develops proposals, delivers presentations, and conducts product demonstrations to showcase the Jama Software's product offerings. Acting as a liaison between sales and technical teams, ensuring alignment in delivering solutions that address customer challenges. We are looking for candidates who live in or are comfortable working Pacific Time zone hours.

You'll be working with your manager, our Director of Solutions Architecture, and the Medical Device and Life Science Pre-Sales Solutions Architect Lead to achieve the goals of this vertical You'll also partner to orchestrate results with Account Executives, Sales Development, and Solutions Consultants, and Technical Support.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Medical Device vertical sales team in a technical pre-sales capacity per industry vertical.
  • Meet with clients and prospects in a pre-sales capacity (technical discovery) to understand their challenges and needs.
  • Provide general and customized demos to highlight Jama Software's capabilities.
  • Learn how Jama can support the medical device industry standards (21 CFR 820.30, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC
  • Complete RFP/RFIs, security questionnaires, and other required technical responses as part of the sales process.
  • Support marketing initiatives as required (blogs, whitepapers, webinars).
  • Take direction from the Pre-Sales Solution Architect to strategize on customized solutions and offerings.
  • Work with consultants to transition projects from pre-sales to post-sales delivery.

What You'll Bring:

  • 1-2 years experience in pre-sales or solutions engineering background in enterprise SaaS sales.
  • 1+ years' experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, SAFe and other product engineering and delivery methodologies required.
  • 1+ years' experience with sales methodology and pipeline management.
  • Strong presentation skills and able to position a product or solution in client facing conversations.
  • Ability to "think on your feet" and thoughtfully answer customer questions.
  • Ability to absorb technical concepts and learn quickly.
  • Adaptable with a positive attitude and phenomenal teammate.
  • Comfortable with virtual meetings and ability to build relationships virtually.
  • Familiar with application lifecycle management offerings and experience working in product development.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in medical device and life science industry.
  • Familiarity with Jira and common test management tools
