Seeking a Finance Manager of Physician Compensation who will provide leadership and ongoing administration and management of all aspects of the Physician Compensation department. You will assist with implementation of policies and procedures for efficient, effective administration of physician payments, compliance, and financial reporting of employed physician contracts. Oversee the management of the Physician Compensation Program process and is accountable to communicate and implement corporate policy and strategic initiatives to meet the program goals and objectives.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

  • You will be responsible for implementing specific policies in conjunction with HCA Corporate Legal, HCA Development and Physician Services Operations, to ensure legal compliance with government regulations with respect to STARK and the Anti-Kick Back legislation governing referral source relationships and FMV
  • Serve as communication liaison with Physician Services, Legal Operations Counsel, Development, Accounting and Division as it applies to administration of the employed physician's contract.
  • You will monitor all physician employment agreements, contract provisions, updates and revisions as required
  • Assist and provide feedback to Operations, Development, and Accounting in determining appropriate financial contracts
  • You will ensure implementation and adherence for operational or contract changes
  • Assist in the preparation of departmental annual operational and capital budgets, as well as interpretation and variance reporting
What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or other Related Area
  • At least 5 years progressive work experience in financial analysis, accounting and/or auditing with supervisory responsibilities
  • Experience with physician compensation contracts
  • MBA/MHA preferred; CPA preferred
