Summary:

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for leading business planning, conducting analysis, and providing management reporting in support of operations across the Company.

Primary Duties
  • Facilitates executive management business performance reviews including variance analysis and the subsequent presentation of forecasts and analysis
  • Delivers innovative, high value-added financial information to the management team for strategic decision making
  • Develops appropriate metrics to measure growth, improve profitability, control expenses and enhance productivity
  • Supports monthly Board of Director reporting and analysis
  • Facilitates executive management business performance reviews including variance analysis and the subsequent presentation of forecasts and analysis
  • Coordinates Reporting, Variance analysis, Budgeting, and forecasting across the region in alignment with global requirements
  • Business Partnering with both Executive Leadership team in the Americas as well as Global Stakeholders
  • Maintains open communication with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure reporting is accurate in all functions
  • Prepares regular flash reporting across key areas including Revenue Reporting, Business Development, Operations, Accounts Receivables, Human Resources, and others
  • Supports M&A activities as well as conducting competitive, market and economic analysis
  • Develops and enhances financial and operational reporting using financial systems (GL, Billing, and other sub-systems) and Business Intelligence cubes
  • Supports pricing and cost saving initiatives in collaboration with operations and corporate teams
  • Supports planning initiatives enterprise wide including development of detailed templates, consolidation of budgets, and detailed analysis of revenue and expense drivers
  • Supports ad-hoc tasks and various business projects using tools to improve financial processes and increase productivity
  • Coordinates with stakeholders through the company to ensure financial management responsibilities are understood and financial goals are exceeded
Experience
  • Minimum 4 years corporate financial planning and analysis experience
  • Minimum 7 years corporate finance experience
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems
  • PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
Essential Skills
  • Strong modeling and analytical skills
  • Strong Data Visualization Skills
  • Ability to read and understand financial reports/statements
  • Ability to review, interpret, and synthesize business information
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of co-workers, customers, and executive management
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
