Duties
  • You will be responsible for the advanced planning of C4I and IT systems during maintenance and modernization in support of the Navy.
  • You will ensure depot level Work Package development adheres to current business rules; developing maintenance, modernization and contracting strategies; incorporating lessons learned; and meeting planning milestones.
  • You will apply IT Project Management functions to include coordination in the development of grouping strategy for authorized work, scheduling and managing the installation of C4I and IT systems at shore sites, activities and platforms.
  • You will provide coordination and oversight of planning, estimating, and work specification development for Ashore and Afloat platforms.
  • You will ensure Work Specifications are developed using Standard Items and Master Specification Catalog templates.
  • You will review and provide recommendations concerning availability planning milestones.
  • You will monitor availability planning milestones and verify documentation, technical adjudication and incorporation of Engineering Service Requests.
  • You will assist in availability risk assessment, the planning of new maintenance and modernization work, and Incorporate Lessons Learned with feedback to the Planning Floors and Maintenance Teams.
