responsibilities:
Develops concepts and constructs prototypes/products from concepts.

Utilizes basic mechanical drawing or CAD software to document prototypes and fixtures.

Explores and proposes creative solutions based on solid rationales, contributing to design and process concepts.

Organizes, coordinates, and executes building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.

Assists project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.

Utilizes internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams in identifying and obtaining supplies and services.

Acts as a resource to other employees.

Communicates project status to project teams.

Builds quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements. Qualifications:

Requires an AA Degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
