About the Gaming Scout Program

Brinc is seeking passionate and knowledgeable Gaming Scouts to join our dynamic cohort-based program. As a Scout, you'll be an extension of Brinc within the gaming space. You'll play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and supporting the most promising early-stage gaming startups that are pushing the boundaries of innovation. This program offers a unique opportunity to collaborate and share insights with fellow Gaming Scouts from around the world.

Expectations:

  • Deep understanding of the gaming industry, including current trends, technologies (e.g., AI, AR/VR, blockchain), and evolving player preferences across different genres and platforms.
  • Proven ability to identify high-potential founders with innovative gaming ideas that align with Brinc's investment thesis.
  • Actively source and cultivate a robust network of relevant gaming startups and founders within the global ecosystem.
  • Conduct thorough research and evaluate pitched ideas based on their potential impact, technological feasibility, market fit, and user acquisition strategies.
  • Champion Brinc externally, acting as an ambassador and promoting the program to relevant gaming startups and founders
  • Contribute to mapping out the landscape of Brinc's gaming startup ecosystem across different genres and sub-sectors.
  • Participate in regular check-ins with the Brinc team to discuss the status of potential startups. (Frequency to be determined)
  • Assist the investment team with Due Diligence processes (potential for learning opportunities).
  • Proven ability to identify high-potential founders with innovative ideas that align with Brinc's investment thesis. This includes leveraging your existing network within the Gaming space to source promising leads.
  • Maintain transparency regarding any potential co-investment or follow-on investment interests in startups you source.

Compensation:

  • Earn success-based compensation for identifying and sourcing startups that are accepted into the Brinc gaming program.
  • Share in the future success of sourced startups through a profit-sharing arrangement.
