Summary

This position is located in the Boise State Office. The incumbent will be responsible for outreach, application intake, making and servicing loans and/or grants, underwriting, and construction management in the Community Programs Division. Projects are critical infrastructure in rural communities such as drinking water and wastewater facilities, solid waste, fire stations, police stations, medical clinics, hospitals, roads, and bridges.

Duties
  • Serves in a leadership role supporting the Community Programs field specialists statewide.
  • Interacts with Rural Development national office staff, Office of General Counsel, and a variety of state and federal partners for delivery of the programs.
  • Develops outreach and marketing strategic plans.
  • Development, management, coordination and administration of an assigned loan and grant program portfolio(s) involving one or more of the agency regulatory loan functions.
  • Analyzes loan and grant applications for eligibility and conformance with Rural Development statutory regulations, policies, procedures and practices and inputs data into appropriate automated database systems.
  • Prepares written loan approval determinations or recommendations for loan approval and submits to approving official as appropriate.
  • Provides a wide variety of servicing actions for assigned loan and/or grant portfolio.
