Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Build and operate an entirely new platform within the Pet Segment of General Mills

This role will be a critical team member of a new Business Unit Leadership team charged developing and operating the end to end supply chain needed to meet short and long range business needs. This individual will lead activities and influence cross functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of Quality, Cost, and Delivery goals set by the business team. Additionally this individual will drive strategic thinking on the assigned business unit ensuring adequate resources are allocated to prioritize growth and that the end-to-end supply chain is considered across impacted business decisions. This role will report to North American PET Operations Director.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the S&OE and S&OE processes within Business Unitto orchestrate trade-off decisions with Commercial and Sales teams to optimize Supply Chain performance and delivery of Business Unit strategy
  • Provide leadership and coordination for Cross Segment Projects & Platform standards as required
  • Collaborate with peer Supply Chain Managers to develop and implement standard processes across the enterprise
  • Monitor and triage supply chain performance variation with escalation to functional Pillars for critical resolution
  • Develop and implement platform Supply Chain Network Strategy to deliver against key metrics with other Supply Chain functions
  • Create specific strategy and project charters to be resourced for detailed vetting and execution
  • Quarterback the Supply Chain resources and represent end-to-end supply chain in all business meetings
  • Ensure adequate resources to support platform objectives for all technical functions outside of Supply Chain
  • Partner with Commercial and Sales partners to drive portfolio optimization and complexity management
  • Develop & Review joint scorecards with Pillar Leaders to ensure predictable delivery against Business Unit annual targets
  • Collaborate with Pillar Leaders towards the development of a robust Cost Savings pipeline

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in pet food or meat manufacturing
  • People leadership experience
  • Abilty to travel 25%
  • End-to-end supply chain competency

The salary range for this position is $ $ / Annually.
