We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in AMERICAS at Fort Worth, Texas.

Job Purpose:

Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple sites under their responsibility including technical service providers. Implement global O&M practices, policies, strategies and training programs. Manage technical budgets for all site(s) under management.
The purpose of the role is a person who will perform a variety of highly technical skilled duties in: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, cement masonry, and dry wall to maintain, repair and remodel facilities. The role will manage the work of specialty vendors and will work under limited supervision.
Coordinate implementation of maintenance & technical functions plans and processes; Support implementation of utilization plans for facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve efficiency of building maintenance including repair, regular and preventive maintenance of building and/or warehouses and mechanical and electrical specifications; Responsible for setting day to day operational objectives for the team to deliver scheduled facilities management activities such as property upkeep, purchasing related to facilities; Coordinate activities of the team to facilities planning and facilities security such as space planning and allocation, facility infrastructure condition assessment; Coordinate and schedule repair work, statutory safety inspections, renovation projects, waste reduction improvement and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules;??Follow and achieve compliance to systems and processes consistent with material handling specifications and safety standards; and Support implementation of enhancements to increase efficiency through better utilization of equipment, materials and personnel

Your tasks:
  • Assists in the management of the day-to-day operations of multiple sites under their responsibility including supervisors and technical service providers.
  • Assists in implementing Country/Global O&M practices, policies, strategies and training programs.
  • Assists in managing technical budgets for all site(s) under management.
  • Responsible in assisting the planning, organizing, and overseeing the maintenance of properties, facilities, equipment and mechanical systems to support operational effectiveness.
  • Supports the Facility Manager in delivering operational services, including Engineering & Operations, Workplace Services, Asset Management, and Occupancy Optimization.
  • Assists in managing team and service providers in executing the FM tactical and operational goals.
  • Support the Operational Management of the site through corporate technical guidelines to ensure the proper functioning and performance of general equipment and facilities
  • Make alignments and technical guidelines with the managers of the sites under their responsibility
  • Management of staffing/third, parties/contractors through KPI's, SLA's
  • Meet the standards of Quality, Safety, and Environment
  • Manages the design and utilization of the workspace to accommodate the staff and meet business requirements
  • Manage relationships with external service providers
  • Works closely with DSC (DHL Supply Chain) site management to align site specific needs and industry requirements to adjust FM support accordingly
  • Supports design and implementation of DSC specific standards that can be leveraged for further DSC growth


Your profile:

Education Level
  • Desirable Facility Management degree/ Engineering, Architecture or Real Estate related field
  • Preventive Maintenance, Inspection, Root Cause Analysis, Product Safety, Facilities Management, Electricity, Generators, First Choice, DPDHL Business Knowledge, Business Processes, Stakeholder Management
  • Certifications:?Knowledge and understanding of OSHA occupational safety regulations; Certification OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus.

Experience Level
  • 3-5 years of relevant technical operation /Commercial/ Corporate Real Estate experience

  • Computer Literacy for entering and looking up information, managing emails, and use of company software tools.
  • Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
