The Neurological division houses a level 4 epilepsy program, concussion program, and pediatric multiple sclerosis program. The outpatient services are located in the Rutgers Child Health Institute of NJ (CHINJ), and practices located in Edison, Somerset, and East Brunswick. CHINJ is a state-of-the-art facility that includes a Pediatric CRC, Pediatric subspecialty offices, and a modern research facility. Our New Brunswick–based clinical programs have achieved Accredited Status for Ambulatory Health Care by the Joint Commission, one of only a small number of academic ambulatory practices with this status. The inpatient clinical services of the division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition are conducted at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital (BMSCH) of the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. This is a 105-bed acute care hospital for children with a dedicated endoscopy suite located on the only pediatric academic health campus in the state of New Jersey. The BMSCH is ranked as one of America's Best Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report. Adjacent to the RWJ Barnabas Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's hospital is the PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital, which is one of the country's largest inpatient acute rehabilitation facilities for children. Across the street is the Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ – the only NCI designated center in the state of New Jersey.
