The Position This job will perform all aspects of warehousing requirements for NNUSBPI regarding the General Warehouse and Cold Storage, functioning as part of a high-performance work team. Relationships Reports to: According to the organizational chart Number of subordinates with direct/indirect referral: n/a Essential FunctionsFollow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesInventory Control of newly received components/materials to include receiving in ERP system and placing in correct locationsFill material requests from internal customers including transacting of materials in ERP systemMaintain warehouse organizationMaintain stock in multiple storage areasPhysical inventory to include cycle countsReorder of non-inventory packaging and warehouse suppliesPreparation and shipping of finished productGeneral shipping to include hazardous materialsRegular inspection of warehouse equipmentMaintain up to date training statusIncorporate the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others Physical Requirements The ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and walk. The ability to push, pull, lift, finger, and grasp. The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication. Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers. Lifting up to 33lbs/15kg of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual acuity to perform close activities such as: reading, writing, and analyzing; operating a motor vehicle or heavy equipment, and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations. Ability to distinguish colors. Corrected vision to 20/30. The working environment includes a variety of physical conditions, working in narrow aisles, and temperature changes. QualificationsEducation and Certifications:High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write legibly, and understand all department documentation. Training or experience to demonstrate an understanding of the risks inherent to the processing, handling and storage of hazardous materialsWork Experience:Minimum 1 year warehouse experience, preferably in a GMP warehouse or pharmaceutical industryKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:IATA certification for shipment of hazardous materials, preferredBasic math skills including knowledge of metric systemComputer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and computerized inventory control systems to include SAPGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to operate stand-up and sit-down forkliftsValid driver's licenseGood organizational skills.
