The Arts & Crafts Counselor is responsible for Roughing It's entire crafts program.This counselor orders and organizes all crafts supplies, plans age appropriate craft activities/projects, and facilitates and supervises the arts & crafts program for campers ages 4-16.Projects range from beginner collages to more advanced plaster masks, woodworking, and pottery.The arts & crafts counselor will also direct a bi- weekly after camp crafts workshop/program for up to 18 campers.S/he also will be asked to accompany and supervise campers on bus routes for our day camp and camp plus programs as needed.The crafts counselor must be creative, patient, and would benefit from previous experience teaching and organizing a crafts program.Prior experience working with children is strongly recommended.
