  • The Arts & Crafts Counselor is responsible for Roughing It’s entire crafts program.
  • This counselor orders and organizes all crafts supplies, plans age appropriate craft activities/projects, and facilitates and supervises the arts & crafts program for campers ages 4-16.
  • Projects range from beginner collages to more advanced plaster masks, woodworking, and pottery.
  • The arts & crafts counselor will also direct a bi- weekly after camp crafts workshop/program for up to 18 campers.
  • S/he also will be asked to accompany and supervise campers on bus routes for our day camp and camp plus programs as needed.
  • The crafts counselor must be creative, patient, and would benefit from previous experience teaching and organizing a crafts program.
  • Prior experience working with children is strongly recommended.
