Overview

As the Spurs Sports Academy (SSA) Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to improve the impact of our youth sports initiatives, enhance youth engagement with the brand, and ensure equal access to sports opportunities. You will work closely with the Associate Manager for Youth Sports Enablement to enhance the sales and service processes of the academy. This role requires close collaboration with program managers, internal departments, and external partners to identify needs and implement effective solutions. Your tasks will include managing client relationships, organizing promotional activities, and providing administrative assistance to increase participant numbers and revenue for youth sports programs.

You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for learning, innovation, and maintaining a customer-centric mindset is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and implement the sales and service strategy in alignment with the OneSSE vision, mission, and goals.
  • Develop effective communication plans and foster relationships with customers through various channels such as email, phone, text, and in-person interactions.
  • Providing effective administrative support to streamline operations and enhance overall productivity.
  • Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of SSA leagues, camps, tournaments, and engagement events.
  • Achieve impact goals and other measures to evaluate the impact of community and youth sports-based initiatives.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other computer skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and support multiple high-level positions.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
  • Demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong teamwork aptitude required.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Strong good oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to travel/spend time in office 50% of time.
