Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems construction and coordination needs of our projects.
  • This position will provide oversight to MEP subcontractors and vendors, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, major MEP equipment, apron/aviation paving, lighting, fire alarm, security, building automation system controls, CCTV, power distribution, and communication devices involved in the project.
  • Assist in coordinating schedules, establishing and monitoring a QC/QA program, maintaining and reviewing punch lists, making sound decisions, and seeking solutions to problems using all available resources from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems.
  • Candidate will ideally have experience within the aviation space: apron/paving and/or vertical construction (buildings and/or terminals)
  • Candidate should be effective in understanding workforce/staffing requirements, project progress, troubleshooting field engineering problems, and start-up and commissioning of building systems.
  • The position requires experience managing the construction of complex MEP infrastructure projects such as airports, data centers, stadiums, and other special-use facilities.
  • Strong experience in managing relationships with owner representatives, architects, engineers, and clients on a professional level while supervising subcontractors and vendors is a priority.
