LandDesign is searching for a Senior Proposal Coordinator in the Charlotte, NC office.

As part of the corporate communications team, the Senior Proposal Coordinator is responsible for the preparation and execution of marketing proposals and submission materials. The ideal candidate for this role is highly organized, collaborative and adaptable, with excellent communication skills. The Senior Proposal Coordinator is expected to be able to oversee the entire proposal process from start to finish, ensuring that each proposal is compelling, accurate, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Strategy Development: Collaborate with firm leadership, other team members, and design staff to develop proposal strategies tailored to specific client needs and requirements. This involves conducting research, analyzing RFP/RFQ objectives, and identifying key messaging.
  • Proposal Planning and Coordination: Lead the planning, coordination, and production of proposal efforts, including establishing timelines, assigning responsibilities to team members, and managing resources effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Content Creation and Editing: Write, edit, and review proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with RFQ/RFP requirements. This includes synthesizing information from various sources and tailoring messaging to resonate with target audiences.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of proposals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards and client specifications. This may involve coordinating with subject matter experts to address technical requirements.
  • Proposal Production: Oversee the production of proposal documents, including formatting, graphics, and packaging, to ensure professional presentation and alignment with branding guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the proposal development process, such as developing templates, standardizing procedures, and maintaining tools and systems. Seek feedback from team members and design staff to drive ongoing enhancements.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain a repository of proposal content, templates, and reference materials to facilitate efficient proposal development and ensure consistency across submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in proposal development, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex proposals from inception to submission.
  • Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal leadership and design staff.
  • Responsive and pro-active work ethic.
