Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Department: Warehouse

Reports to: Logistics Manager

Required Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: Experience with shipping, receiving and warehouse operations

Languages: English

Skills/Software: Computer skills Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook, NSE or similar purchasing software.

Traits: Employee should be alert, ambitious, hard-working, detail oriented and should have prior experience working in a warehouse environment to

include exposure to the elements from working outside. Employee should

also be available to work overtime, including weekends and travel as

required.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks (professional forklift certification is required / training will be provided in-house)
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 80 lbs.
  • Must be detail oriented with ability to receive and document all materials delivered to the warehouse.
  • Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers, buyers, and other office or ship personnel regarding warehouse inventory.
  • Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and safely.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate via email utilizing Microsoft Outlook
  • Accurately maintain company database in (NS)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check, verify and record goods received against invoice, and/or packing list.
  • Notify Supervisor of defective products and/or damaged packaging.
  • Provide accurate paperwork to the logistics coordinator to enter entry in NS.
  • Tag packages with the correct identification labels.
  • Stack and palletize inventory according to facility specifications.
  • Packing cargo for shipment per specified pick list.
  • Always ensure a clean and orderly workstation.
  • Assist in warehouse and office cleaning.
  • Perform other tasks, duties and responsibilities as needed or directed by the Logistics Supervisor and/or Logistics Manager.
