Project Archaeologist

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, a national consulting firm, is currently seeking a full-time Project Archaeologist-Field Director with a Master's degree in Archaeology or Anthropology and field experience in the Great Basin or Southwest.Aside from the archaeology, we will also train you on compliance with NEPA and other environmental laws.Conduct archaeological and cultural resources field surveys, includes travel throughout the Intermountain West and Southwest and potential out-of-state travel to support a national environmental program.Required Skills Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degree in archaeology or anthropology or related discipline.Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degree in archaeology or anthropology or related discipline.Working knowledge of National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Section 106 regulations, and state cultural resource statutes.Experience with GPS data collection technologies (Trimble or Juniper GNSS Receivers, ESRI Field Maps).Preparation of NEPA documents at the national, state, local and tribal level, including desktop data collection, analysis, and technical writing.
