  • Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, a national consulting firm, is currently seeking a full-time Project Archaeologist-Field Director with a Master’s degree in Archaeology or Anthropology and field experience in the Great Basin or Southwest.
  • Aside from the archaeology, we will also train you on compliance with NEPA and other environmental laws.
  • Conduct archaeological and cultural resources field surveys, includes travel throughout the Intermountain West and Southwest and potential out-of-state travel to support a national environmental program.
  • Required Skills Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degree in archaeology or anthropology or related discipline.
  • Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degree in archaeology or anthropology or related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Section 106 regulations, and state cultural resource statutes.
  • Experience with GPS data collection technologies (Trimble or Juniper GNSS Receivers, ESRI Field Maps).
  • Preparation of NEPA documents at the national, state, local and tribal level, including desktop data collection, analysis, and technical writing.
