Senior Program Manager, Exploratory Innovation Teams (XITE)

We are seeking an entrepreneurial individual with strategy and project management experience to support the Exploratory Innovation Teams (XITE) program and define strategic priorities for the Research organization. In this role, you will work closely with the Research Strategy Lead to execute processes for a program that nurtures exploratory innovation within Philips and develops deep insights on trends in the innovation ecosystem relevant to Research and the enterprise.

Your role:

  • Engage with Business Unit and functional stakeholders to drive awareness of the XITE program, and execute "call for proposals" processes, and selected XITE projects.
  • Support delivery of highly strategic XITE projects, serving as a program manager/strategic advisor (e.g. scoping/definition of critical business questions, liaising with key resources across relevant teams, supporting strategic analysis).
  • Analyze and synthesize emerging trends in technologies, and market shifts within the healthcare landscape. Identify patterns and develop relevant insights that inform/advance innovation at Philips.
  • Engage with Research teams (Public Private Partnerships (PPP), Breakthrough Innovation Teams (BRITE) and Business Ops) to understand their needs, priorities, and to drive Research's strategic agenda.
  • Create executive level presentations for leadership discussions within and outside Research.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have 4+ years of experience in a strategy role within a company/management consulting/strategic program management, preferably in a healthcare, technology, or research setting.
  • You've acquired a graduate degree in Science, Engineering or Business (preferred).
  • Your skills include:
    • Strong analytical and quantitative/financial modeling skills.
    • Landscape analysis and/or market research experience.
    • Working knowledge of innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), (Machine Learning (ML), and/or Big Data is a plus.
  • You have experience working on projects with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment and strong interpersonal skills.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
