The Lab Manager, Quality Manager will support the daily activities within the Quality Control Laboratories.Qualifications
Manage and participate in material ordering, receipt, and inventory for Quality Control (QC) Departments.Manage, execute, and review routine equipment calibrations and maintenance tasks, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Facilitate the purchasing, receipt, installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of laboratory equipment.
Coordinate with external vendors regarding preventative maintenance and repairs and assist in completion of work orders.
Assist the QC Laboratories as needed with preparation of solutions and buffers as required by method SOPs.
Participate critically in the Quality and Change Review Boards.
Draft and revise SOP's, as needed.
Maintain knowledge of current QC processes and suggest areas for improvement.
Maintain strict adherence to GMP documentation practices.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Use judgment, creativity, and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions to problems, as directed by QC management.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Experience Requirements:
5 years of laboratory management
2 years of experience in a GxP environment
