This role is part of our Operations department and will be located on-site. As a Pharmacy Lab Technician, you will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging.
You will be part of the Southeast Operations team and report directly to the Southeast Operations Leader. If you thrive in a fast-paced, attention to detail role and want to work in a dynamic environment, read on.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
- Perform medication inventory management and restocking.
- Prepare non-sterile compounded products.
- Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of medications.
- Maintain and update patient records as necessary.
- Work with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective medication administration.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Must be licensed by the Florida State board of Pharmacy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience with non-sterile compounding.
- Understanding of different medication administration routes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
