Main Purpose of Job

This is the managerial level of work in the Department of Juvenile Services, Behavioral Health, responsible for managing behavioral health (Mental Health and Substance Abuse) services at the two Youth Centers located in the Western Region. This position is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the quality and outcomes of behavioral health services at the Youth Centers, providing administrative and clinical supervision to professional behavioral health staff, providing technical support, representing the behavioral health division in the region, including providing reports and recommendations to the Director of the Behavioral Health Unit regarding the programs results and needs.\r

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:�Determined\r
by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists under the\r
licensing requirements for Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor�(LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC); or by the Maryland State\r
Board of Social Work Examiners under the licensing requirements for Licensed\r
Certified Social Worker - Clinical�(LCSW-C).\r

Experience:�At least three\r
years of professional experience�delivering/providing clinical\r
behavioral�health services.\r
