Role Summary:

TEAM ) is a national leader in providing outsourced employment services. As we continue to scale, we are looking for an IT Helpdesk Specialist who will be instrumental in supporting our commitment to flawless service delivery.

The company is looking for a detail oriented, team focused professional with a talent for clear communication to be the technological lifeline to our internal teams. The IT Helpdesk Specialist will report to the IT Manager and will play a key role in maintaining our standard of excellence by ensuring our team has full and smooth access to the technology that fuels our operations.

Requirements

What you will do:

  • Primary responsibility will be to provide excellent and friendly end-user IT support for local and remote users.
  • Utilize your strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve technical problems for workstations, laptops, printers, servers, Wi-Fi, VPN, multi-factor authentication, misc. software and other peripherals, such as smartphones.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to document procedures and create knowledge center articles for efficient problem-solving.
  • Assist with employee workstation setup, including computers, desks, monitors, and printers.
  • Maintain inventory and track technology equipment through its lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) team to facilitate the onboarding process and assist in. transitioning some ticket responsibilities to the MSP as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Information Technology certifications, related degree , or similar work experience (2+ years IT support) preferred.
  • Proven experience in application support and troubleshooting, including O365, Google Workspace, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Active Director, and an understanding of basic networking systems and protocols.
  • A passion for technology and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
  • Interpersonal skills: including proficiency in telephony, effective communication, active listening, and providing excellent customer care.
  • Strong ability to successfully multitask, easily adapt to changes, consistently maintain productivity, and efficiently manage time.
  • Working knowledge of diagnostic utilities to effectively identify and resolve issues.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

This role is based in California. The CA pay range for this position is $20.00-$27.00 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to the applicant's skills, work experience, knowledge, abilities, education, etc. Note that this range may not apply to employees based outside of CA.
