Senior Project Manager

About the role:

Boston Scientific is looking for a Senior Project Manager who'll have responsibility for the development, prioritization, resourcing and management of programs and campaigns to support initiatives for the Customer Engagement & Activation team within the Urology business. In this role, you will orchestrate functional excellence-driven programs by leveraging project management best practices and tools while effectively leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovation and continuous improvement for customer & consumer experiences.

Your responsibilities:

Manages the initiation, planning, phasing, execution, control, and closing of projects; develops and implements plans and processes while fostering team ownership and commitment to plans.Estimates project levels of effort and structures requirements (resource, business & functional) using standard techniques and tools, collaborating with appropriate team members to understand scope and impact on the business.Prepares plans, schedules, and budgets using project management tools; collaborates with relevant team members to identify tasks necessary for project completion.Directs project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality; ensures project quality using standard development methodologies.Communicates project status and performance by preparing standard status reports/dashboards and coordinating status update meetings.Resolves project issues by collaborating with leadership, cross-functional partners, and other relevant parties. Provides input to functional managers on team and team member performance.

Required qualifications:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree.Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Senior Project Manager or in a similar position.Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and experience managing the full project lifecycle.Demonstrated expertise in using project management tools (such as Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Risk Register, Resource & Budget Planning, Visual Management, etc.)

Preferred qualifications:

PMI or PMP certification.Capable of working and spearheading change and innovation in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work cross-functionally and at all organizational levels in a professional, solution-oriented manner.Strong organization and execution skills, including demonstrated ability to confidently own responsibility for project progress, completion, and evaluation.Knowledge of different project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
