responsibilities:
- Experience in preparing and reviewing tax calculations, tax returns, and other tax filings;
- Will be responsible for assisting with the annual tax provision and forecasting the quarterly financial and cash tax rate;
- Assist in managing partnership and corporate tax returns;
- Facilitate Federal and State audits;
- Working knowledge of tax technology systems (Corptax and OneSource) relative to both tax compliance and tax provision areas;
- Assists tax audits. Assist with income tax provision process upon request;
- Interact and correspond daily with tax authorities;
- Assist in ensuring all internal controls and procedures are properly documented and key financial controls are operating effectively;
- Federal and state income/franchise tax audits, including responding to inquiries;
- Perform tax research and memorialize conclusions;
qualifications:- B.S. in Accounting or related field;
- Partnership experience preferred;
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred;
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite; proficient in Excel;
- Minimum 3 years of tax accounting/compliance experience;
