Schedule: 7am – 3pm, Monday – Friday

Pay: $17 - $20/hr. (Depending on experience)

The Bilingual Customer Service / Receptionist will provide administrative support, customer service, and overall coordination to help support the agency's mission of ending homelessness. This position will be the main point of contact for the agency and perform client screening and assessments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide resource and referral information to callers and in-person visitors.
  • Receive incoming calls, greet all visitors or clients, keep the reception area neat and orderly, and ensure that all persons entering the building are properly signed in.
  • Assist in updating resource materials, complying with policies and procedures, complying with statistics, screening, and assessment for clients, interviewing and evaluation, coordinating and scheduling intake meetings, and creating spreadsheets and entering data into agency board reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality, participate in staff meetings or training, assist the manager in contacting vendors, track and organize inventory, manage phone lists and mailboxes, and handle other duties as assigned.
  • Develop and improve plans for professional development, treat staff, clients, volunteers, and the public with courtesy and respect, and provide backup support to other programs in the department.

This position requires the candidate to have a minimum of two years of related experience and be bilingual (English/Spanish).
