Johns Hopkins Pediatric Cardiac department uses a gentle, child-appropriate approach to diagnostic techniques. After assessing a child's condition, they meet as a team to determine a unique treatment plan.

We are currently searching for a full time Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join this remarkable team. As an ultrasound tech you will help in the diagnosis and treatment of:

treat all forms of pediatric and congenital heart disease, including:

  • Ventricular septal defect
  • Bicuspid aortic valve
  • Tetralogy of Fallot
  • Palpitations
  • Chest pain
  • Hypoplastic left heart syndrome
  • Patent ductus arteriosis
  • Primary pulmonary hypertension
  • Supraventricular tachycardia
  • Congenital stenosis of aortic valve

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • Successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic sonography
  • Six months of either clinical or student scanning experience
  • Registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
  • CPR within the first three (3) months

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

7:30am - 4:00pm
