Working out of our Summerlin, Las Vegas Executive offices, the Director of Payroll Compliance is responsible for researching, staying up to date, and ensuring CalPortland follows evolving, applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, rules and regulations related to payroll in all jurisdictions where employees reside. The Director of Payroll will manage payroll and compliance projects and collaborate with Human Resources, Benefits, IT, and other applicable groups to ensure that staff are informed and trained on changes that affect Payroll.

Requirements/QualificationsMinimum of ten years progressive experience in Payroll including a minimum of three years in a compliance roleMinimum of three years working at a director level or aboveExcellent written and verbal skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to successfully work across departments (e.g. HR, Finance, IT, etc.)Ability to travel as necessaryWork Schedule:Work week is Monday - Friday and occasional weekends. Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration/clearance as well as ongoing alcohol and drug testing.
