Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in the financial planning and analysis function, providing critical insights and support for strategic decision-making. This position will involve complex financial modeling, analysis, and reporting, with a focus on driving financial performance and supporting business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Financial Modeling and Forecasting:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
  • Collaborate with various divisions (Finance, Marketing, IT, Operations) and gather data and assumptions for financial models.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate potential outcomes and impacts on financial performance.

2.Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.

3.Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the development and management of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Support business units to understand their financial needs and ensure alignment with overall corporate objectives.

4.Capital Planning and Analysis:

  • Support the capital budgeting process by analyzing capital expenditure proposals and assessing their financial impact.
  • Conduct financial reviews of capital projects to ensure projected returns and outcomes are achieved.
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases for capital investments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

5.Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually improve financial analysis capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a corporate finance or FP&A environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, SAP, Powerplant, or similar systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with business partners.
