Job Description:
Client needs a technical Project Manager who will manage a new initiative referred to as the Business Services Portal (BSP)

This position will report to the Director of Economic Development at the Department of Business and Economic Affairs (CLIENT), in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology (DoIT).

The BSP is an ARPA State Fiscal Recovery Fund supported, statewide project facilitated by CLIENT with the purpose of creating a single access point to state government and its systems and services for members of the business community.

This position will work closely with the vendor responsible for creating and implementing the BSP, as well as CLIENT and DoIT staff, ensuring that the project remains on schedule and that state agencies are appropriately engaged in the build out process.

This Project Manager will also assist in communicating project related metrics, deadlines, data, and qualitative and quantitative successes to the project vendor, stakeholders, partners, agency staff, and potentially policymakers.

Moreover, the person in this position will oversee, create, and implement procedures and protocols designed to assure successful development and delivery of this complex business and technology project that spans most of New Hampshire's state government, and do so in a manner that helps ensure the final product delivered by the vendor is designed for long-term sustainability.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university, preferably with a major in management information systems, computer information systems, or computer science.

Each additional year of specialized formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience:


Seven years' experience in systems analysis, broad-based knowledge of business environments, preferably in a field or occupation related to software development, software support, or software maintenance, three years of which shall have included the direct involvement in application or product lifecycle management.

Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

License/Certification:

Must be eligible to hold a valid New Hampshire driver's license and/or have access to transportation for use in statewide travel.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Three years' experience managing the full lifecycle of projects. Proficient in the use of MS Office products and project management software tools.

Familiarity with technologies that may be used by the State now or in the future, such as the sample listed below (not limited to these items):
Cloud based platforms (i.e., Salesforce, Caspio or other such platforms as a service (PaaS
Reporting tools (i.e., Tableau, or other equivalent tools)
Database tools (i.e., MS SQL, Oracle, etc.)
Testing Tools (i.e., JMeter, LoadRunner, others, etc.)

General development/data migration (APIs - Rest/SOAP, Automation-MuleSoft, other tools that may be Platform as a Service (PaaS) specific, etc.)
