In this position, your tasks will involve:
Conducting flow cytometric processing and analysis for all types of samples, such as tissues, bone marrow, and peripheral blood.

Playing a vital role in lab activities including ordering, filing, Quality Assurance (QA), and Quality Control (QC) across all clinical lab functions.

  • Proficiency in executing a range of moderate to complex lab techniques, which includes flow cytometric processing and analysis of various samples like tissues, FNA, bone marrow, and blood.
  • Preparing slides and carrying out subsequent staining processes.
  • Ability to gather and analyze specimen data meticulously under the supervision of the lab manager, along with maintaining detailed records in notebooks, emphasizing the importance of recordkeeping.
  • Proficient in operating computers and various programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
All you require:
BS/BA Degree with 1-3 years of practical experience. Training will be provided if needed.

Must hold a valid NYS license.

Additional Information:
In this role, regular contact with Protected Health Information (PHI) is expected.

All employees will receive training on appropriate protective measures and are required to maintain absolute confidentiality while adhering to all relevant privacy and security protocols.

Personnel should only access PHI when necessary for job-related responsibilities.

The starting salary is $38.00/hr and is dependent on experience; adjustments may be made based on geographic location differentials.

Sonic Healthcare USA retains the right to offer compensation above or below the mentioned range.

Any discrepancies between actual pay and the specified range will consider factors beyond race, color, religion, gender (including pregnancy), or national origin.
