Summary:


As a member of the Automation team, you will be responsible to grow and manage your Rockwell Automation tech segment area(s) of responsibility along with active engagement around converting competitive business to Rockwell products/solutions.

This position is considered an outside selling/customer facing role and you are expected to be on the road and at customers, shows, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a disciplined approach to grow and manage your business. Maintain an active plan for targeted competitive conversions.
  • Achieve/Exceed your annual Rockwell tech segment performance goals.
  • Embark on value based selling and "customer centric selling" skills offer solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Leverage technical and application expertise as means of influencing decision makers.
  • Provide domain expertise, technical assistance to customers and use industry and product knowledge to support and build sales.
  • Use key value propositions to identify business that align with prospect customers goals.
  • Maintain current contracts base and achieve all ontime renewals.
  • Perform other related duties as required or directed by direct manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of external, customer facing sales experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years Industry and Product knowledge preferred.
  • Must be a selfmotivated individual with the ability to make independent decisions and use good judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks, must be selfmotivated and organized.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven customer service excellence
  • Ability to sell and influence customers at various functional groups and levels.
