Job description: We are looking for a Subcontract Analyst with a background in subcontract solicitation, analysis, creation, negotiation, award and post award responsibilities to join our team in Cambridge, MA or Reston, VA

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Perform subcontract management functions in support of U.S. Government and Commercial Contracts
Solicit subcontractors, supporting various award types and take a lead role on fact finding, proposal analysis and risk assessment with guidance from peers
Manage tactical and strategic aspects of subcontract relationship, which includes interface with technical and contract organizations, such as Program Management, Program Office and Contracts.
Issue modifications, solicit Engineering Change Proposals and issue Stop Work Orders.
Be the focal point for subcontractor performance. Includes: RFP generation, delivery, payments and all contractual terms; Purchase order Placement and maintenance; Subcontract performance monitoring and completion assessments.
Ability to develop sound business cases, and analyze data.
Communicate clearly, strong writing skills, be proactive in a very fast paced environment, flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough, and drive tasks to completion

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with 3-5 years of experience or High School diploma/equivalent with 5 years of experience in subcontracts management, contracts management, procurement, proposal price/cost analysis, strategic sourcing, and/or industry related areas
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities, deadlines in a fast paced environment
Experience creating, negotiating and awarding both fixed price and cost type subcontracts
Demonstrate working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and all levels of management including willingness to interact directly with subcontractors
Experience soliciting, evaluating and documenting cost and price proposals
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to learn and effectively apply new tools, processes and procedures
Security Clearance, preferred
