The Field Service Technician is an essential member of our equipment team. This role ensures the seamless operation of our equipment at client locations, from installation to maintenance. It requires a technically adept individual who can handle complex issues, efficiently manage installations, and communicate effectively with both clients and internal
teams.
Safely and efficiently manage the replacement, installation, removal, and low-priority maintenance of Drinkbot equipment at tradeshow events and customer restaurants locations, ensuring adherence to Company standards and customer satisfaction.
Provide comprehensive training to restaurant operators on the proper use, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of Drinkbot equipment.
Address minor technical issues with Drinkbot equipment that may not be functioning correctly at the time of delivery. If a resolution is not immediate, initiate a service call.
Oversee the preparation, inventory, and condition of all materials and equipment needed for trade shows and demonstrations. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to guarantee that all resources are event-ready.
Manage the logistics of transporting materials and equipment to and from event locations with the logistic coordinator. This includes scheduling shipments, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely setup and breakdown at event sites.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
experience in an equipment maintenance role
Familiarity with beverage equipment or similar machinery is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using tools and equipment relevant to the refurbishment process.
Physical Requirements:
May involve lifting heavy equipment (30 lbs), bending, standing for long periods, and other
physical activities associated with equipment refurbishment.
Willingness to travel as required for event preparation and execution.
Proficiency in logistical planning and vendor management.
