Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus
Shift: Full -Time - Days, evenings, 40hrs. (depending on availability) (Occasional on-call and rotating weekends may be required)
University of Miami Hospital - Interventional Radiology UTower
- Reviews and evaluates developed x-rays, video tape, or computer-generated information to determine whether images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
- Takes thorough and accurate patient medical histories.
- Explains procedures, observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan, monitors conditions and reactions, and reports abnormal signs to a physician.
- Positions and immobilizes patients on examining table.
- Positions imaging equipment and adjusts controls to set exposure time and distance.
- Records, processes, and maintains patient data and treatment records, and prepares reports.
- Sets up examination rooms ensuring that necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Performs scheduled maintenance and minor emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Education:
Associate degree or equivalent
Certification and Licensing:
Certification in relevant specialty or field
