Position Overview:

Freddie Mac is seeing an experienced Scrum Coach Sr with hands-on experience with Agile deliveries using SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). The Scrum Coach Senior role is within the Single Family Business Technology Office (BTO) division and will work directly with the Underwriting product teams. This individual will implement and facilitate the Freddie Mac Agile Methodology, practices and ceremonies as recommended in our Modern Delivery Playbook. **This position is a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in the office and 3 days remote**

Our Impact:

The Underwriting Business Technology Office (BTO) supports the Single Family business, creating and implementing solutions to a variety of technology challenges. This support takes many forms, including deploying emerging technologies, and maintaining critical underwriting applications.

Your Impact:

The Scrum Coach Senior has three overall goals in addition to removing team impediments and facilitating Agile practices:

· Facilitate the creation of a self-organized, self-managed team that can identify and deliver the work that can be completed in a time-boxed Iteration

· Training, or support the Agile Coaches training, of the team on the Freddie's Agile methodology, processes and controls

· Ensure the project team adheres to the Freddie Mac Agile Project controls

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Information Science or IT related subject area

· At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master in Kanban Systems

· SAFe Scrum Master or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

· 5+ years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture or other related IT areas)

· 2+ years of explicit experience as an Agile Scrum Master/Coach of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a large organization

· Hands-on experience with Atlassian Suite tool preferred (JIRA, Confluence)

· Experience implementing flow-based concepts/ideas/experiments into team dynamics for the purpose of balancing work-item demand with team capability; improving team cycle time and throughput; and ensuring Kanban system design delivers value that meets customer expectations.

· Experience using flow-based metrics such as Cumulative Flow Diagrams, Lead Time Distribution charts, Aging WIP charts, etc. Understands how to read them and can implement ideas/experiments to course correct where necessary.

· Ideally has Kanban System Design certification (formerly known as KMP I) via Kanban University (or equivalent)
