Reporting to the Private Sales Manager, we are looking for a Private Showroom Assistant to join our New York Team. The role will be based in our Mount street location and will work closely with our Showroom Salesperson to support during appointments, client communication and other Showroom administration duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing the showroom, maintaining visual merchandising standards, ensuring the studio is tidy and ready for clients as well as taking on any organizational supportive tasks.
  • Greeting all clients and delivering excellent customer service, shadowing the salesperson, and helping during appointments.
  • Liaising with the private studio salesperson regarding all client communication and sales, maintaining the appointments calendar, reminding clients of upcoming appointments, and following up with any queries.
  • Being responsible for carefully organizing and maintaining all stock.
  • Preparation of samples that clients have requested to see during their appointments.
  • Updating and maintaining databases, contact lists and client information.
  • Assisting with event-planning and implementation, attending events which can also include some travel.
  • Looking after and monitoring studio supplies, ensuring all office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Steaming garments and ensuring all pieces are prepared for the appointments, ready for collection previews, wholesale appointments, events and assisting at the photo-shoots when required.
  • Supporting the team with travel bookings, diary management, press requests and couriers that need to be arranged.
  • Ensuring that all showroom samples are returned to the studio in a timely manner when requested by the PR department.

    Requirements:
    • Experience with luxury customer service and a passion for working within a showroom environment.
    • Good knowledge of trends and interest in fashion and PR.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Understanding of luxury customer care and good attention to detail.
    • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong team player, with hands-on work ethic.
    • Keen to follow and build processes, highly organised and can work well under pressure.
    • Ability to work quickly, accurately, and independently.
    • Commercial mindset and good at building relationships with new potential clients.
