We are looking for a proactive and dynamic people manager to join as our Team Lead of Beauty Sales. You will be the primary conduit between the Product Sales Manager, the Regional merchant team, the product brands and the customers. You will supervise, mentor and develop a cross‐functional sales team, and foster a service environment to create the luxury service experience for our customers. You will demonstrate the ability to lead and role model our highest standard of service quality.

The Team Lead will be partnering with high end, luxury cosmetics, skincare, and/or fragrance brands. You will attend seminars, and receive in-depth training to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed to have ownership and autonomy in your role.

This position is located inside of the LAX airport, promising a high volume work environment which brings a high potential to maximize commissions. Full schedule availability is required, but you be will provided with a set schedule with two consecutive days off per week.

Description:

The Team Lead is primarily responsible for driving sales through a seamless customer experience aligned to the company vision. Supervise, coach and develop the sales team.

  • Create a collaborative, team environment that encourages exceptional luxury services for all customers.
  • Lead, manage, and correct while being able to critically problem solve in the moment.
  • Drive store sales through promotions, clearance, incentive targets, etc.
  • Continually monitor and improve team productivity results in the categories of:

Conversion of customers from non-buying to buying

Spend per transaction

Average Units per Sale (AUS)

Staff Productivity Results

  • Ensure clear goals and objectives have been set and communicated with all team members.
  • Consistently keep team focused on customer experience and productivity targets.
  • Manage optimal staffing and floor coverage.
  • Maintain floor presentation to meet or exceed brand and company requirements.
  • Set and keep up with the appropriate Presentation Stock levels.
  • Promote the company brand and positive professional image by being a role model for other staff members.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 1 year of experience leading a team within retail or service industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient with Microsoft-based applications
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally in English.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and use proper, polite language.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills with the desire and ability to lead, motivate, and manage others.
  • Must be have full availability between 4:45am - 2:30am, 7 days a week.

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience working with luxury brands in a boutique retail environment.
  • Ability to speak a secondary language is beneficial, but not required.
  • Previous experience managing sales goals for luxury products.
