Overview

The IT Support Intern's role is focused on helping end users be successful, secure, and productive using the technology assets provided to them by CIS. The IT Support Intern will work under the direction of the IT Support Manager.

This role requires on-site work from our Albany, NY headquarters.

We lead a global community of IT professionals to continuously evolve these standards and provide products and services to proactively safeguard against emerging threats.

Hourly Rate: $15 - $20

What You'll DoProvide outstanding customer service to all end usersEnsure security best practices are central to decision making Troubleshoot hardware, software, and technology issuesMaintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenanceCategorize and track IT inventory stockLoad and configure all required software including office applications, E-mail, Anti-Virus, and internet programs.Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned, including lifting objects of up to 50 lbsWhat You'll NeedEnrollment or study in Information Technology, or past experience support IT teamsBe familiar with common PC and Mac hardware and software packagesExcellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanorMust be authorized to work in the United StatesAt CIS, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment in which the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and views of our employees, members, and customers are valued and respected.
