As a Wildlife and Exclusion Technician at Allied Pest and Wildlife, you will play a crucial role in addressing wildlife infestations and implementing effective exclusion measures.

Job Duties:

  • Conducting onsite inspections: You will visit residential and commercial properties to assess wildlife infestations and determine the best course of action.
  • Wildlife removal: Using safe and humane techniques, you will remove various wildlife species, including raccoons, squirrels, bats, and birds, from infested areas.
  • Implementing exclusion measures: You will install animalproof barriers, netting, and seal openings to prevent wildlife from reentering the property.
  • Client education: You will educate clients about wildlife behavior and provide recommendations on how to prevent future infestations.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintaining accurate records of services provided and completing necessary paperwork will be essential.
  • Safety protocols: Adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate protective equipment is a priority.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience: While previous experience in wildlife removal and exclusion techniques is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Driver's license: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required as you will be responsible for driving to different locations.
  • Comfort with heights: Some tasks may require working at heights, so it is important to be comfortable in such situations.
  • Problemsolving skills: Strong problemsolving abilities will help you address unique challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills are necessary to interact with clients and provide clear instructions.
  • Attention to detail: Being detailoriented is important for following instructions accurately and completing tasks thoroughly.
  • Physical requirements: The ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces may be necessary.
