About Us

Chicago Loop-based private family office seeks a well-organized, competent, hard-working, dedicated, and ambitious IT Analyst to join a growing, dynamic, and entrepreneurial team and take charge of the information technology infrastructure across a diverse portfolio of companies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex IT ecosystems, consolidating diverse systems, and ensuring seamless technology operations for multiple entities. The IT Analyst will play a pivotal role in overseeing systems, software, inventory, security, vendor relationships, and equipment across our organization.

Your Core Contributions to The Team

IT Integration, and Optimization

  • Assist with IT initiatives for all portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Consolidate diverse IT systems, creating a unified and efficient technology landscape.
  • Streamline and integrate various IT systems to enhance efficiency and collaboration across entities.
  • Optimize existing systems and processes to meet evolving business needs.
  • Assist with maintenance of IT equipment in conference rooms, shared spaces, and Principal offices; implement proactive measures to optimize systems, troubleshoot potential issues, and conduct regular assessments to always guarantee peak performance.
  • Ensure seamless functionality of audio-visual systems, video conferencing tools, and presentation equipment to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any technical issues promptly, ensuring a reliable and user-friendly environment.
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that IT services meet the needs of the organization and its users.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with IT initiatives.
  • Uphold high ethical standards in handling sensitive information and making decisions.

Inventory Management

  • Oversee the inventory of employee equipment, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.
  • Supervise the deployment and maintenance of the organization's IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues, providing support to end-users.
  • Implement best practices for equipment lifecycle management.

Security Awareness Training

  • Maintain security awareness training programs to enhance the cybersecurity posture of the organization.
  • Stay abreast of the latest security threats and ensure proactive measures are in place.

About You

Knowledge, Abilities, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of overseeing diverse IT environments.
  • Willing to be available during evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Able to successfully manage Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, as well as integrating various SaaS applications.
  • Proficiency in a broad range of IT areas, including systems administration, network management, cybersecurity, database management, and cloud technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems integration, and security best practices.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute complex IT projects.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Able to make informed and timely decisions, especially during critical situations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies, industry trends, and business requirements.
