About the Role:
Mastery is looking for an Agile Project Manager for our External API domain with project management experience in an Agile environment. In addition to providing daily support to the teams in all ceremonies, this role will manage the reporting of team projects, escalate issues and risks, and effectively communicates project health to project stakeholders throughout the organization.
This position requires a strong understanding of Agile theory and Scrum framework and will balance multiple teams and projects simultaneously. This position will also require you to be an expert at driving teams to completion. Your passion, technical and business depth, and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills will inspire our teams and rapidly establish trust amongst a diverse set of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and lead scrum ceremonies
  • Manage risk, dependencies, deployments, and any other cross-team communication
  • Assist in flagging, communicating, and removing impediments and other interruptions to team productivity
  • Create meaningful team or project level Jira dashboards that provide real-time transparency into the status of sprints and projects
  • Participates in cross-team scrum of scrums on behalf of team
  • Effectively lead a team in all phases of team maturity, from Forming to Performing
  • Leverage agile methodologies to support engineering teams' continued development and growth; actively identify appropriate scenarios for implementing different frameworks.
  • Train teams in agile practices


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Agile Project Manager in a software environment
  • Strong verbal and writing skills to ability effectively communicate to different various audiences and technical aptitudes
  • Experience working with complex technical concepts and projects
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations, escalating risks, and communicating changes to timelines


Preferred:

  • Experience in logistics industry a plus
  • Jira experience a plus
  • Experience working with APIs a plus
  • Agile certification a plus
