Job Summary:

onsemi is hiring a Software Development Engineer. You will enhance and support multiple software systems, applications, and components for image sensor device testing and data analysis in support of onsemi's intelligent sensing product development and manufacturing. These distributed systems encompass semiconductor test data collection, processing, storage, retrieval, analysis, and interactive display. Web UIs display and report on wafer and die level test data. You will collaborate with worldwide users by supporting their requests. Our team focuses on creating software tools that streamline production device testing and improve many aspects of yield analysis - such as bin paretos, test efficiency analysis, data extraction, lot/device status, and out-of-control fault detection.

This role is based in Nampa Idaho

Responsibilities

Qualified candidates must have solid software engineering skills. This includes writing clear and concise code, optimizing software execution, and collaborating with other team members during code reviews and design discussions.

Required Skills: Demonstrable knowledge of the following:

Software development skills (Python, C++, C#, JavaScript).

Full stack web development knowledge/skills.

Database concepts, modeling, and SQL DDL/DML.

Strong analytical, problem solving, creative thinking and reasoning skills.

Requirements gathering and project scoping.

Knowledge of the following is a plus: Service oriented architecture/microservices, distributed systems, large scale data extraction and analysis, Python extension modules (C++ or Rust), Rust, React/MUI, PostgreSQL, experience in the semiconductor industry.
