The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex patient care.
He/she is accountable for adhering to established policies, standards of care and standards of practice and for demonstrating leadership and accomplishments when providing patient care and in developing and implementing programs to improve the delivery of patient care.
Functions as team leader or charge a supervisory capacity with or without the presence of the Nurse Manager.The ANM assists in the development and implementation of programs to improve the delivery of patient care and functions as a team leader/charge nurse.
Specific responsibilities of nursing practice are dependent on the specialized area to which the nurse is assigned.The ANM is directly responsible to the Nurse Manager (NM) and is the designated person in charge in the absence of the NM.
Tour rotation and assignments will not be affected except when the NM is on leave status. The ANM works varied tours to provide direct supervision, assessment, guidance and direction to staff.Pay:
