The primary function of this position is to refuel all tractors and trailers that are returned to the yard on a daily basis. Fueler must have strong organizational skills to track, monitor and measure the fuel being dispenses into each unit. Keeping accurate nightly records to insure all trucks are fueled on time is critical. Recording and monitoring tank levels to insure we have fuel in part of job responsibility. Checking fluids, oil and routine maintenance checks on tractors and reefer units is part of daily responsibility.

Main Ingredients of the Job * *

As a US FOODS Fueler you will be responsible for refueling all tractors and trailers that are returned to the yard daily. A US FOODS Fueler must have strong organizational skills to track, monitor and measure the fuel being dispensed into each unit. US FOODS Fuelers record and monitor tank levels to insure we have fuel in part of job responsibility. AS a US FOODS Fueler you are checking fluids, oil and routine maintenance checks on tractors and reefer units as a part of daily responsibility.

SCHEDULE : Sunday - Thursday (3:00 P M - 1 1 :30 PM) * *

*Related Experience/Requirements: * * *

• Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
• Performs 10-point fuel island safety inspection on the fleet
• Fuels tractors and trailers
• Checks oil levels in all equipment
• Maintains record keeping of fuel
• May be required to do minor cleaning on fleet.

Education/Training : * *

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed
• High School Diploma/GED preferred; however, must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations. Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is between $22 and $24/hr.
